GRAND PRAIRIE, TX – March 17, 2026 – Cognizant Major League Cricket (MLC) today announced that the 2026 season will begin at Grand Prairie Stadium on Thursday, June 18 with a match up between the Texas Super Kings and Seattle Orcas. The upcoming campaign will mark the league’s fourth season since its launch in 2023.
The opening stretch of matches will take place June 18–21, before MLC returns to Grand Prairie for an additional run of regular-season games July 8–12. In total, the venue will host 15 matches across nine days of cricket, featuring all six MLC franchises.

Grand Prairie Stadium delivered several thrilling contests during the 2025 season, including five regular-season matches decided in the final over of the second innings. The venue also hosted MI New York’s incredible playoff run, culminating in the team capturing its second MLC championship.

The announcement marks the first venue confirmation for the 2026 season. The 2026 season will be MLC’s fourth, having begun play in 2023, and will run from June 18 to July 18. Additional venues, the full season schedule and player announcements will be released in the coming weeks.
